LA producer Groundislava (Jasper Patterson) has made one of the best remixes I've heard in sometime. It seems like a match made in heaven. City Calm Down is an 4 piece live electronic band from Melbourne. Yes, their song released this year has been reworked beautifully. City's undeniably 80s influenced music is great enough already, but Groundislava has taken it to the next level making it very dancefloor friendly, and great for the drive to the beach over summer. I was first made aware of Groundislava, when local Producer/Record Label Manager/Total Legend Nick Forrest (Communication Records) sent me a link to his Boilerroom set last year. He is part of the Wedidit Collective with others such as RL Grime, Shlomo and this is one producer set to shake things up.. don't we love that. There is also remixes done by Sydney boys Wordlife, and also Melbournian Zac Hayse. Anyways get downloading and enjoy!
