It’s pretty hard to improve on a Michael Jackson tune. Louis La Roche (aka Brett Ewels) has had a crack at the 1983 classic from the
Thriller album, “Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'” . Louis gives it his special UK
Nu Disco treatment – and it comes of quite playable. Kicking off with some hats and background
noises, it soon moves into a smooth disco synth version.. It still maintains enough of the original - yes
those trumpets are still in there, with some new janky guitar lines later in
the track. Somehow I don’t think this will be finding its way onto Ever After
Records, but that’s even better as free download.
